Available transitional effects on PowerDirector

I’m really happy with using PowerDirector as an app and going forward with my project, it very similar to premier pro on the adobe software which I am unable to use due to different circumstances. The difference between the two is that Premier Pro is more in depth and features a lot more effects and gives you more options to experiment. Have in said that I believe this is the best app to use because it is easier to use. Also I can use soundtracks and images from my phone which helps the speeding process.

Using Images to create a sequence to summarize my interests and influences

I used the effect wipe soft as it represented ‘New Wave’ which was a popular music genre of the 1980’s and also the song featured in the video was ‘Save A Prayer’ by the new wave band Duran Duran which is one of my favorite songs from the decade which assisted the images and the design aspect.

A Series Of 6 Images – Inspired by A Decade – Experiment

I have taken these images using an app called retro camera and have taken images that represent me and how I’ve been influenced as a graphic designer and as a person. By these images I am heavily influenced by the 1980’s by referencing a vinyl player, a Walkman, Sega Mega drive, the Mad Max poster, Comic books and even though it doesn’t link with the 80’s it still symbolizes my interests as a person; The West Ham United address Plate.

You could argue that it could link in with the 1980’s as West Ham United’s highest ever finish was 3rd which was 1986.

I have used overlays to create the dynamic look and increasing the sharpness to give it that nostalgic look to reference a specific decade. Also to make vivid and eye catching.
