Final Blurt! 30 sec Ident

Really happy with the final blurt ident, I really wanted to convey a new wave feel and I think I’ve done that by incorporating a grid to convey the synth pop genre also using dynamic colours to fusion together to create vivid effects and animation. Using the echo effect on the main logo really plays with the definition of the word blurt which means shouting out or burst out with.

The moving videos really convey a retro feel as the animation is basic but effective and fits in with what I,m conveying and displaying a specific time period.

To improve this I would take my own footage of someone playing the guitar, painting, dancing and reading. I used stock footage from pixels.com as I was limited to resources during this difficult time.

To improve this I would include kinetic typography just to give it more flexibility by using letter forms to extend its appeal and to maintain its excitement and glee.

The song used for the ident is ‘Domino Dancing’ by the Pet Shop Boys (1988)
