Final Three 10 second Animations

Final Three 10 Sec Animation, UNIT 3: MOVING IMAGE, UNIVERSITY (UCA)
I used an effect called echo which gives the text a ghostly trail.
Bubbles was well known for using dynamic colours and his flamboyant graphic designs during the punk/post-punk era, this experiment echos that genre, design approach and Bubbles himself.
The song used for this experiment is ‘Is there something I should Know?’ by Duran Duran (1983)
I timed the key frames at the same time when the characters are speaking.
Tarantino is well known for using extended dialogue in his films to increase tension or to maintain interest. This audio was taken from the “Hamburger” scene in his 1994’s Pulp Fiction.
I used the letter forms of the typeface Airstream’ and using the word blurt to give the sequence that abstract feel. Saul Bass was very simplistic when it came to displaying elements, text and form. This also captures the old style animation by just using up, down, left and right to display movement.
The song used for this experiment is ‘Nodisco’ by Depeche Mode (1981)
